Note: I deleted the letter originally posted here because the City Council vote is past, and in retrospect I don't feel comfortable with the personal information it contained. To sum up the letter: I think it's a bad idea to tear down 48 Abell, both because of its old character and because it is home to many artists who have helped turn around the neighbourhood and who are now getting priced out.
