Most of my childhood was spent moving from one Canadian Air Force base to the next, with frequent visits to see my grandmother in my hometown of Kahnawake, located across the river from Montreal. Almost every air base I lived on was located in a rural part of the country, so I always looked forward to going home for a visit, since there were so many wonderful things to experience in the city. I think most of us here on citynoise have things we love about the urban world, so why not...
