Shadow of Del Mar

author: JoeyD : Santa Cruz, CA

image 32455
Inspired by Joey’s Del Mar Theater post, I went back into my archives and found some photos taken around the general area of the Del Mar. The Del Mar Theater is located on Pacific Ave in Santa Cruz CA. That area of pacific ave is known as “Pacific Garden Mall” or locally just as “The Mall”. “The Mall” has long been the cultural center of the city. Ikea's Watery Shadow

author: CartLegger : Brooklyn, NY

image 25692
I've been watching the looming hulk of Ikea rising for a year now over the old docks of Red Hook. But its been a while since I've seen its progress. Early Evening and then Purple Shadows over Bayonne Garden Walls

author: jack : Bayonne, NJ

image 24847
whilst driving from staten island along 440 north into bayonne i glanced out the passenger side window and grabbed my kodak camera and snapped this shot. i enhanced the colors to the way i first saw it and reproduced it in my kodak easyshare software on my laptop. darkness came in very quickly and i caught the elizabeth seaport cranes in the second shot, the purple haze was great, i wish you guys could have been with me but i doubt my subaru forester could hold us all.
