and the U of M powerplant and the Stone Arch bridge. I had to sneak around behind a fence for the local gas company to get this angle (I've been trying to get a shot like this for a while, and this isn't the best angle but . . ) I saw some people down at the lock and dam looking up at me with my lens/tripod setup. I'm surprised I didn't get a visit from the cops but I was gone pretty fast.

I dont think I've ever seen a boat using that thing though. Even though I lived nearby, its pretty easy to forget about the ole miss. Its not easily visible. Not a part of daily life in the cities.
