The twins as seen from Brooklyn. By the 1970s shipping traffic had moved to the container port at Newark yet there was still general cargo going out and coming in. Somebody's getting some new Chevy pickups...

 If you look carefully you can make out the vault over the Penn Station ticket hall. From the cover of an old school geography textbook.

This is the rail-cut leading west out of Penn Station, west into New Jersey from midtown Manhattan, and that's a double-decker NJ Transit train. I particularly liked the skyline-like shadow on the wall above the train...
