After first learning about Parkour from Citynoise, it's only fair that
I post this Parkour sighting on the PATH train here...
Traceur is a synonym for Parkour
They proceeded to engage in such antics all the way from Newark to
the WTC station in Manhattan, much to the delight of the otherwise
tired, drunk or bored riders of the midnight Friday evening train into
the city...
Newark, New Jersey...

The third post in this Sidetracked in Harrison series, these photos cover the structures and
warehouses immediately to the north of the Harison, NJ tracks of the Port Authority Trans-Hudson
(PATH) commuter light rail
The pink region on the map is a quick overview of this area. And again, here's
an overview map of Harrison, for context

A continuation of the Sidetracked in Harrison series, these photos cover several square blocks of
warehouses in various stages of use/decay. The particular structures pictured here line the south

The pink region on the map shows the area in question a little bit more clearly. Here's it's Googlemap,

by a sympathetic officer who took me as "just another railfan", and sent me on my way.

Not much has changed since 1972, at least in terms of what New Yorker's call their neighborhoods.
The "Lower West Side" is Hell's Kitchen and "Lower Broadway" is now the World Trade Center area.
Sutton and Tudor seem to have melted into each other some, and into the Upper East Side.
Yorkville, too. And I've...

Each day, I commute through the World Trade Center site to connect from the subway to the Port Authority Trans-Hudson (PATH) train...
Vesey street and Greenwich, with signs indicating detours and the constantly changing traffic flow due to reconstruction...
Heading east, braving the flow of oncoming commuters headed back to New Jersey... you cana see the spire of
