Another exhibit from the 2006 Toronto Nuit Blanche "contemporary art thing". University of Toronto: Dark Hart Curated by Barbara Fischer (Multi-media environment showcases) nuitblanche.livewithculture.ca/n . . . sity_of_toronto_dark_hart The films were projected on to the end wall of the Hart House pool. Hart House is a beautiful old building that serves as a University of Toronto student centre. The films (what I saw at least) consisted of a bunch of specially made footage spliced with various other commercial films (eg. A Clockwork Orange). Candles, humidity, and the odour of chlorine added ambience. The pictures looked particularly pretty reflected in the...
