On Thursday, my wife had a can of 7up confiscated from her by airport security in Kuujjuaq, while preparing for boarding our return flight to Montreal. She asked if she could just drink it on the spot, but they said it was too late for that. While perhaps a bit of overkill, it makes sense in a way, since it has now been proven that explosives can be disguised as innocent liquids. I also made sure that my nail clippers were in my checked baggage, since we all know what a terrorist threat nail clippers can be....
