 My uncle bob took this photo in august of 1945, he fought to free Paris and then went into the battle of the bulge, when the war ended he still had time to spend in the army, imagine that, after fighting germans from one country into another he still did not have enough points to go home.

I don’t think this building has a name yet. But it sure has a reputation. Curbed calls it "the tower of Bushwick".
Although there are other new buildings in the area around Wykoff Ave in Bushwick, there is nothing as tall and audacious as this. Turkmanian, the owner, did this by buying air rights from neighbors and by exploiting the floor to area ratio of the structure---less floor space = more height--in this case, 14 stories worth.

Defunct Sign Tower, Houston, Tx.
This old sign used to rotate with the name of an insurance company/salesman. Now it sits, rotting, waiting to either fall or be demolished.
