In May of 2007, I posted some photos of the old Canada Malt Plant which I took that winter. The photos I took were all of the exterior from the Canal side of the building and of graffiti on the interior silos. Last Fall, I took some photos of the other side of the plant which I am posting now, a full year later: St-Henri, Le Sud-Ouest, Montreal

I took these pictures about a month ago. I had heard while eating dinner one day that the church in St-Henri was burning down. I didn't get to take the pictures until a week or two after it burnt. Anyone who has ever lives on the west side of the borough probably has a story of some-sort about this church and I am no exception; when I first moved to Montreal, I met a few people who later became good firends.
