 My girlfriend and I moved from Center City to a beautiful rowhouse in Kensington. Here are some pictures of our new neighborhood near Norris Square. With its high concentration of factories during the industrial revolution, Kensington was once referred to as the Workshop of the World (www.workshopoftheworld.com). Since deindustrialization and white flight occurred after World War II, much of the neighborhood has become blighted. However many sections are quite healthy, with large populations of Puerto Ricans and other Hispanics locating here...

 An (undoubtedly) unofficial concert that closed down the northern portion of Kensington Market this past Sunday. I have no idea who the band is, but they seem to have some followers...and no, they're not fighting, just moshing very very hard. The last picture pretty much explains the whole scene.
