Most of my childhood was spent moving from one Canadian Air Force base to the next, with frequent visits to see my grandmother in my hometown of , located across the river from . Almost every air base I lived on was located in a rural part of the country, so I always looked forward to going home for a visit, since there were so many wonderful things to experience in the city. I think most of us here on citynoise have things we love about the urban world, so why not...
