Avenue A-train stop, . The tilework and s in this (and the station as a whole) are decaying. Maintenance looks minimal at best. These tiled-in grids once held , d inside the tile frames. Apparently, as time passed and other better-traveled stations sprung up nearby, there was little demand for advertising in this low-traffic outer-boro subway station.
