Montreal Circa 1979

While I was back in my home town in New Brunswick this week, my mother pulled out some pictures of her trip to Montreal to see Rod Stewart at the old Montreal Fourm in 1979. Most of the pictures were of her and her friends at bars and in the hotel with their 1970s facial hair and colourful pants, however, these three pictures were taken from her hotel room. Based on what I can tell from the first two pictures, the window faced east somewhere between Crounch Crouch

I just rediscovered this golden oldie on my hard drive, which I took in June in front of Concordia University, at the corner of de Maisonneuve and Bishop. I think it's the largest stencil I ever saw. Here is a shot from further back, so you can see how it looks in relation to the building it's on.
