Inside the Old Coast Guard Station (Part 3)

At last we wrap up our trip to the coast guard station. In the back storage room there are odd plates strewn about. If you look closely on this map you can see that there was actually a ferry shuttle from another, larger pier to this building. Presumably this was the closest available parking location for would-be restaurant patrons. Still to come: Cleveland's Bridges, The Piers in Edgewater Park, the Cleveland Skyline, and Cleveland Graffiti.

This is probably my favorite set from the whole trip. Through the window we have a partial view of the Cleveland skyline. That's Key Tower in the center there, which, at 947 feet, is the tallest building between New York and Chicago. Just to its right is the BP Tower. Here is a preview of some of the Cleveland graffiti I'll be featuring in a later post. Below we see several of Cleveland's fabled bridges.
