This wall is the side of the post office along St. Lawrence Street. The brick wall has these repeating white panels which make perfect canvasses. No one makes much use of them though. For those of you who are not New Yorkers... the boxcar-like "Redbirds" are a classic style subway car that ran on the IRT express lines for EVAR and were retired in 2003. www.forgotten-ny.com/SUBWAYS/las . . . tredbird/lastredbird.html I spotted one this past weekend. Disco Fever

Taken in one of the demerged cities (Beaconsfield I believe) outside of Montreal during an afternoon with EvilGentleman. I'm not sure what they were doing but they seemed to like being photographed (there were three cameras from our car taking pictures). The weird colours are a result of too much experimenting in Photoshop. I kinda like the results though, kinda gives it a cameraphone feel.

i thought it might be interesting for everyone to post a photo of their camera - after all, without them, what would citynoise be? a little tribute to our other eyes sorta thing... ^here's my clunker - a sony dsc-p73 4.1 mexapixels cybershot. as taken with my back up camera - my nokia 6265i 2 megapixels cameraphone. one day i hope to upgrade to something much, much better...but for now, it'll have to do...*hangs head in sorrow*
