Yet Another Bike

I totally sympathize with everyone who has posted comments on stolen bikes in Toronto. I just moved here and live in The Annex area, where some low-life stole my _Classic Black Schwinn Cruiser (Coaster) bike_ a week and a half ago. The bike had no accessories on it (no basket, fenders or rack), only a small black bell on the right handle. See image above: my bike was the same minus the white design on the frame. Mine was totally black with a bit of gold, and a huge comfy seat with a few holes in it).

Embarking in a thorough research ALL OVER THE CITY (literally), I've met the horribly infamous "Igor" (Queen West, across Trinity Bellwoods) and had a full-out conversation with Jacob from "Uncle Jacob's" on Spadina St (just south of College St).

If you've lost your bike GO TO IGOR'S; I went to his shop and didn't say anything about a stolen bike. So the guy shows me his HUGE and I mean HUUUUGGEE stash of stolen bikes. I went to the upstairs, the back and the basement of his place (and it's not often one gets to see all this- just be übber persistent and don't be afraid to talk back to him as he does). He is the lowest of low-lives and for the sake of being polite, I'll avoid employing any other more vulgar words to describe this crooked man.

Anyways I didn't find my bike, but there are so many others bikes there guys, you should really check it out. I wouldn't be surprise if others got luckier than me. Anyways, for those who are in the downtown area, if you've spot my bike please contact 416-689-2256 or shoot me an email through the Craigslist.org link below. The bike means so much to me and I won't stop looking.

Love & Peace to all,

Sonia

My condolences from Brooklyn. I just got off mine on the way home from a lovely sunset ride, and had a warm fuzzy moment scaring people out of the way on the Brooklyn Bridge. Man, I dig those two wheels.

Anyway, sorry for what happened. Hope you can replace it.

sonia, sorry for your stolen bike, i loved your bike, it reminded me of the black schwinn phantom with chrome fenders and a radio in the console. put on handel streamers and away you go. when i was a kid i had a scooter, i loved that scooter, but it was taken also, so i feel your pain, remember its only an object, people are more important, don't let people be taken away from you.

jack: but sonia, isn't that a boy's bike?
