jeeff: 3rd Aug 2007 - 05:27 GMTbtw: shot number one happens to showcase two new toronto upgrades.. 1) coloured cn tower. i don't know how long red-and-white will continue--they can do all sorts of crazy patterns. i find my shots lately really underscore the ubiquity of the tower. i notice it a lot more now that it's lit up. 2) pedestrian traffic light countdowns. i think they're great for everyone, and for cyclists they help immensely in deciding whether to go or not. EvilGentleman: 3rd Aug 2007 - 05:48 GMTThe crosswalk countdowns look like the ones I have seen in the Lasalle borough of Montreal for the last 20 years. They're everywhere around here nowadays, but not downtown for some stupid reason. They really need to do something about that. And the CN Tower looks way cooler lit up. I have video of it in the dark, and it sucked. kricket: 3rd Aug 2007 - 17:53 GMTi always got the impression utah and cause were a couple because their tags always appeared alongside one another, but i haven't seen as many of those lately and i see more and more utah+ochre, so maybe she ditched cause for ochre, who knows. and while this is probably not the case, the thought of a couple going around tagging brings warmth to my heart.
zagg: 7th Aug 2007 - 03:09 GMTI experienced the countdowns back in June - loved it and found it helpful. Go me not getting ran over! Comment on this article..[previous] :: [next] |
