On this day, January 25th, in 2005 famed architect passed away, he was 98 years old. is fortunate to be graced with several wonderful buildings designed by Philip Johnson. Two of these are picture above, and . He also designed two amazing landmarks here in the city, The formerly known as The which stands proud and tall in The Galleria/Uptown area of Houston. He also designed the which is located downtown. If you have Philip Johnson buildings in your town, I encourage you to post them in this thread or to make your own!

It is called the Chapel of St. Basil, not St. Thomas... Simple mistake though. Great compilation of photos!
