London's a big place, you know. I just moved, and had a sift through a vast archive of phone photos, I'll let the images speak. I'd upload more, but I'm tired. Citynoise for you:

Sloane Sq War Memorial, the plaque below says "Their lives to their country, their souls to their god"

Selling jesus one more time

The law being enforced in Southwark.

This one is a very dark shot of the rotting insides of an old sweatshop

image 5007

A bridge near my old home, it's equalized because the original image simply came out black. The colours bring out its nature a little.

Hackney Wick, which I now live closer to. One of my favourite places in the world ... I like to pip for the underdog

elaine: good! nice to have you back

Shame hackney wick 2 is so underexposed, my train was coming tho

elaine: it gives the flavour, though

JamJar: 16th Sep 2005 - 17:02 GMT

Hackney wick is amazing, like nowhere else in London. A really quiet, industrial, almost abandoned air

elaine: 16th Sep 2005 - 17:05 GMT

but it's probly gearing up, like bethnal green, for the boom of the olympians. maybe it is a coincidence, but there is an awful lot of bulldozing going on right now

Peter: 16th Sep 2005 - 17:11 GMT

im not trying to rub it in or anything, but damn, am i glad nyc didnt get the 2012 olympics... :(

JamJar: 17th Sep 2005 - 12:59 GMT

They're going to cane one of the most interesting, historical (and not to mention environmentally important) sites in London. And I just moved to E15, we'll see how my rent goes.
