From September, I think. Last game or so of the season for the Staten Island Yankees, a team with a view. The Statue of Liberty's out there...

Above, mascots, a staple of minor league ball. The Yankees had a legendary shortstop and later announcer named Phil Rizzuto, nicknamed "The Scooter," whose trademark cry was "Holy Cow!" Hence the outfit. Actually, there was some pretty funny poetry (sometimes haiku). Example:

...You know, it might,
It might sound corny.
But we have the most beautiful full moon tonight.
And the crowd,
Enjoying whatever is going on right now.
They say it might sound corny,
But to me it's some kind of a,
Like an omen.
