I've been looking at graffiti in houston for the last couple of years , and these two names are fastly spreading; Miuz and A3. Little is know about the two other than what is found on their myspace. Miuz doesnt say much on it, but as i can see A3 just a depressed kid. I first started seing their tags toguether in january 2008, and their getting up fast. Pretty soon its going to become a city issue.

destruction or art? i always find it interesting when people refer to graffiti as "destruction", as its not like theyre carving their tag into the wall with an air-chisel or something. painting seems to be too passive to be properly destructive, but i guess its all in your perspective. these arent particularly great pieces, and seem to be slapped on some out-of-the-way wall by kids somewhere in houston, so im not sure where that puts them on the "art" scale, but hyping graffiti as "destructive" is sort of overkill. what this sort of graffiti is, though, is a form of visual virus that keeps manifesting it self over and over, and continually replicating all over the world. you may be for or against it, but one thing's for sure, it cant be stopped. similar to taking antibiotics for the flu, you can paint over stuff like this to treat its symptoms, but... itll be back.
