new utrecht high school. it is just down a couple of blocks from the old oriental movie theatre (now marshals). if you should perchance to view an old re-run of welcome back kotter the opening credits shows this school while some guy is singing, the welcome back theme song. i went there one summer to take an english course. i hated english, cause i hated reading, and so some idiot tries to sell me tickets to the 5th floor swimming pool. note: only 4 floors. then i'm ready to go into class and this girl calls me over and asks my name. so i tell her, i figure she is a cute girl, older than me, but something strange in her face. she tells me her last name and its the same as mine. she tells me her mothers name and its the same as my mothers name. she tells me that she has always lived with her father since her mother and father divorced. she tells me she had a little brother, jackie who went with his mother when he was 3. i met my sister for the first time that day.
