I'm glad you're posting these as I'll probably never see any of the demerged municipalities other than the ones inside the city (Cote-St-Luc, Hampstead, Ville Mont-Royal, Westmount, Montreal-Ouest, and probably Laval as I'm probably going to need to go the airport sometime next year (and it's quite close to me).

EvilGentleman: 23rd Aug 2006 - 21:54 GMT

Um, I think you mean Dorval, not Laval. Say, do you have a driver's license? If you do, maybe we could take turns driving while the other shoots pictures. There are so many pictures I cannot take because I have to keep driving and there is nowhere to pull over. And if you have a bus pass, get on the 211 bus at Lionel-Groulx metro and sit on the right-hand side. As you pass the Turcot Yards, you will see a lot of graf on the concrete that divides the highway going the opposite direction from the train tracks. I have seen it many times from my car, but every time I saw it from a bus, I always had either rain, a dirty window, or 18-wheelers alongside me. It's been driving me nuts! That graf needs posting, before it fades any more than it already has. By the way, the first stop on that bus route is Dorval Circle, which is a 5 or 10 minute walk from my place. If you get off the bus at the circle and walk forward 15 metres, you will be at the 211 bus stop going the other way, back to Lionel-Groulx.

I do mean Dorval, I always get the two confused!

I do indeed have a driver's license and am definitely up for that. It sounds like a lot of fun! The next couple weeks until school starts are pretty much all free for me so almost anytime (with the exception of a couple days of orientation at school) are good for me.

Nice graf, Neath. Where is it?

But maybe it would fit better on a post about graf. Sirhcbre has been doing some Montreal graf posts recently. This would go nice there, or even possibly in a post of its own.

Sirhcbre: 9th Sep 2006 - 20:20 GMT

I found out something interesting about DDO. According to Wikipedia:

"...Dollard-Des Ormeaux is a multicultural community. In its early years the city was overwhelmingly white and Protestant. In fact, prior to the 1980 Quebec referendum on sovereignty, Dollard-Des Ormeaux bears the distinction of being the only municipality in the province to pass a motion declaring that it would join the province of Ontario in the event of a "yes" vote."
