One Year Afore I Leave

The first time I ever came to Seattle, we drove from Raleigh NC. Bo had not just one but 2 new hotshit tech jobs. 100grand a year outta college. but he had to be there on monday and it was saturday at noon. We made it in 45 hours. In a rented Ford Fukin Tarus, I will hopefully never drive one again. Trip odometer hit 3,000 miles as we took the off ramp into Bellevue.... i was fairly out of it. Technically i gave up at the Idaho/WA border since it was a snow storm in June, but he kept driving for some reason.

The credit card company was calling. they didnt think it was possible to be in all those states that fast.

He went to work, I caught the bus to Seattle. When I got off the bus i saw real life crack for the first time. That was 7 years an 4 months ago.
