Heavy MTL 2008: Disturbed
[previous] :: [next]This is the second post of the Heavy MTL 2008 series. Sorry for taking so long to post the pics from Montreal's premier heavy metal festival, but I have been busy as of late.
Disturbed came on at about 8:25 or so on Sunday night of June 22. They were scheduled to come on at 8:15, but things were running a little late, as Three Days Grace finished off their set. The wait was definitely worth it. My teenaged kids went missing somewhere near the mosh pit, but I knew they wanted to be as close to the action as they could get, and I did not have the patience to get myself crushed again after seeing Iron Maiden the night before.
It was one hell of a show. Songs played included DFI, Prayer, Down With the Sickness, and many others. I hope they come back next year. Pretentious and parochial! Comment on this article..[previous] :: [next] |
