Bike The Drive 2006

Bike The Drive is a ride organized by the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation. Lake Shore Drive is closed down from 5:30AM-10AM to allow only bicyclists on the roadway. There was a post-ride festival in Grant Park afterwards with vendors and a BMX demo.

That would be so cool to have a road that big just for bikes. Of course when gas gets to $7.00 USD maybe they'll peel a couple lanes off the freeways for the bikes since there won't be as many cars.
