elaine: i hate to be a snob, but i am glad they don't come to my window box. they are big birds and they like to hang out, and they can do very big craps. evidently......

elaine: they are now. until the greedy buggers came along the bluetits and the occasional starling and the magpie were a bit sniffy about the millet that was in the seed mix and would pick through......

elaine: looks alright to me. i saw the full moon this morning from my kitchen. and also this little chap. these boys are recent arrivals from somewhere. what are they? greenfinches maybe? at first the bluetits......
