[previous] :: [next]**Hello! I have been coming to this site for a while and I love it.
I loved the way these clothes moved in the breeze...

This article has been viewed 4057 times in the last 3 years kc: 6th Jul 2005 - 01:58 GMTthese shots of a building with laundry, in black and white...feels like something out of another era, a movie...(On the Waterfront, or something??)...is that all one apartment or do two share the line, I wonder? anyhow, welcome. jeeff: 6th Jul 2005 - 03:13 GMTnice. my towel fell off the line once while i lived in tokyo. it fell down a crevasse between two buildings and i never got it back. pissed me off. but i enjoyed watching it weather through the seasons. Laura : 6th Jul 2005 - 03:41 GMTThanks, KC. Those are two apartments on the same floor- friends and family set up the lines. My boyfriend lives the building over and his mom shares a line with his grandma. I think its nice- and economical. Peter: 6th Jul 2005 - 13:43 GMTcool- i used to work up at cpmc in washington heights... its quite an interesting place, thats for sure. also: welcome to citynoise :) these photos are great. feel free to grace us with more submissions anytime! BZZZP: 6th Jul 2005 - 23:31 GMTi am so incredibly mindfucked by you descibing the colors of things in b&w photos... but yeah thww clothesline one is niice. i should ggo shoot this building by the qboro that has the same vibe.
