This incredible structure has over 24,000 square metres of glass cladding and is recognised worldwide as a cutting-edge piece of modern architecture which has dramatically changed London's skyline.
Owned by Swiss Re, the Gherkin has 40 floors and it's restuarant at 165 metres high, is officially the highest in the city.

I climbed to the top of the building my flat was in and snapped these.
kinda boring i guess, but i find them really interesting, part of the city no one really sees.

another mayday pic in trafalger square, they basically got all us protesters penned up in front of covent garden tube and let us party right there.
i was living on st martins lane at the time so it was like a 2 minute walk to all the fun.
