Horncastle by Night (Part Two)

author: Jamie : Horncastle, UK

I like how my camera picks up street light at . these s and are nicely framed. Another bad graffiti hall of fame, perhaps. Please do not park here, garage is in use Another , seen a few of these around lately.

Horncastle by Night (Part One)

Last was . So much so that i couldn't see to drive home. I like the way the street lamps light the fog, and i like the way the camera accentuates this, making it look like the sky is on fire.

You Gotta Count Your Ducklings Before You Touch the Turntable

So, last night i had a fast food craving and went to McDonald's, and i know what you're thinking, and i agree, but it's comfort food. A mothfull of soggy cheeseburger and a gulp of strawberry milkshake reminds me of being a kid. So, my car has a hole in it's exhuast, which makes it sound cool. I drove to the McDonalds drivethru, and i dunno if this is a UK specific thing, but the drivethru is where the hang out. In their suped up vauxhall novas, alloy wheels, furry dice hung from the rear...

Bring on the Clowns

author: Jamie : Mablethorpe, UK

Normally i don't like to post a single photo on it's own, but i found this one whilst digging through some old stuff. These guys live at the back of an old open air near the seafront in Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire. Evil . I was always scared of clowns as a child. Most amusement arcades used to have a version of "The Laughing Clown". A lifesize clown dummy in a glass cabinet with a money slot. When you fed him the correct change he'd...

View for Rent

author: Jamie : Horncastle, UK

What kind of a view does £300 a month get you in this town? This kind, that's what. Much nicer than the view i used to enjoy from my first floor* maisonette on a run down estate. * American readers: for first floor read second floor. Here in the UK we start from "ground floor" and work upwards, whereas you, quite sensibly, start with "first floor" I never really took many photos of churchill avenue, there are some of the outdoor sofas but i think that's about it. I'd go back and take more,...

St Peters Close, Yes He Is

i like this church. it looks like it is made of rotten potatoes, but it isn't really. it's flint. unusual to see flint in the city, more of a country cottage thing.

Rural Schoolin'

I've always liked this school bus, with its soaring-bird insignia and the stove pipe, suggesting that it's been used as a dwelling. I wanted to get a closer shot, but was afraid of being shot for trespassing if I ventured...
