Berwick is a small historic town. It's about as far North East as you can get in England and changed hands between Scotland and England many times, though it's been English now since 1482. It's a walled town right at the mouth of the Tweed. The majority of the walls were rebuilt by Elizabeth when she was concerned about a Scottish-French alliance. Now they make a great place to walk around and view the towns charms. Here's some photos I took while staying there. The artist LS Lowry used to stay in Berwick regularly.
