We Are Not Criminals!!!!

author: Rabblerouser : Houston, TX

We are not criminals, Our only crime (if u want to call it that way) is coming to this country without papers looking for a better way of life for our family. Criminals are: George Bush and Congress Who send our latin american sons and daughters to die for this country which don’t appreciate the sacrifice they do for it. Criminals are also our employers who exploit us with a minimum wage for our job with which they become millionaires While we are still living in poverty. It benefits them for us to remain illegal to the government to take away our taxes and to the...

A Little Taste of Screwed & Chopped to Metal Classics

author: Arthur Mercadante : Houston, TX

Lets go back to 1986 when you were the bad ass in school by day and partied out by night by banging your heads to "Master of Puppets" by Metallica, "Peace Sells" by Megadeth, "Aces High" by Iron Maiden, "Cowboys From Hell" by Pantera, "Looks that Kill" by Motley Crue, "Just got Lucky" by Dokken and others. Well, a few years ago back in 2001 me and a pal of mine decided to go back into that time and bring it to the 21st century by putting a little H-town to it what DJ Screw would have done. It is...

Goode Co. Texas Seafood

author: groovehouse : Houston, TX

The best $5 margaritas in town. The specialty here is anything mesquite grilled. They also serve fried fish, but you can get that anywhere, for real flavor, mesquite grilled is the way to go! This isn't the only Goode Co. restaurant in town, there's also a BBQ restaurant as well as a Taqueria. They even have a stand alone gift shop where they will ship you a packaged pecan pie! Official link for this restaurant: www.goodecompany.com/goodeRestau . . . staurantSeafoodKirby.aspx Local reviews for this restaurant: www.b4-u-eat.com/houston/restaur . . . rants/reviews/rsv0094.asp The Armadillo Store! A Very Expensive Locksmith

author: groovehouse : Houston, TX

image 10813
This was the scene down the street from where I live when I got home from work today. I didn't notice any smoke, so I thought maybe the fire was already out. Upon arriving on the scene, I was told that the guy on the right side of the balcony had... get this... locked himself out of his residence!! What a total waste of resources! Two large firetrucks, several firefighters, two local police and a very busy Westheimer street blocked off in both directions during a very busy time of the day. This guy could have easily broken the window on his...

Legal Graffiti

Tx - A contracted out to a local group of graffiti artists turned entrepeneurs who paint murals and do various other live street art events. This one is on the side of a building that houses Taxi Taxi a local hip clothing resale shop. Larger image of the mural: www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=124870307&size=o Graffiti Electrical Box - This box is right next to the mural, you can probably see it in the original image off to the right. spotted on prichards road, as a postscript to this discussion about the disgorged state of local junction boxes, what caught my eye was the form rather than the content, that it was a stencil, quite good, like the stary eyes...
