A word that appears on bridges across motorways and railways all over the UK. It's only purpose to annoy drivers who are left with a nagging curiosity for the rest of their day until the next time it ceases to become important once again. Gouranga meaning "Golden One" in Sanskrit refers to the last avartar of god who descended to earth 500 years ago in India. This incarnation a monk named Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was golden in complexion.
