Six weeks ago, there was a fire in the building next to the bar where I hang out. It started in the Chinese restaurant on the left. The building housed the restaurant and a convenience store that was owned by my friend Omid and his father. There were also a half dozen or so apartments on the upper floors. I was passing Octopussy last October when I saw the Zoomerang hydroplane racing boat parked out front. After checking it out, it appears that it was parked there as part of the sponsorship deal the boat's owner has with Octopussy. Only in Quebec, can you find strip clubs that sponsor racing events.
