I could not believe my eyes when I saw this. Esso has decided that it is a good idea to promote the fact that their convenience stores sell beer by putting a poster at their pumps. Talk about irresponsible advertising! All this despite Quebec having one of the highest rates of alcohol-related fatal car crashes in the country. Well, it helps me decide where my gas money will go, and it's not to these guys.

I love this eagle located above an auto shop on de Maisonneuve across from the Saint-Laurent Metro entrance. The Canadian flag seems somewhat faded, though.
