In my wife's office building, there is a small restaurant on the ground floor that has been World Cup central for the last month or so at least. Louie, the proprietor, has been cheering his beloved Italy from day one, while graciously allowing flags and banners from competing teams to join his Italian flags that adorn the walls of the restaurant. Mystery Apartment

I've finally found an apartment to move into in Montreal for the Fall. The problem is, other than a street number and a general area that I've based off proximity to a metro stop, I don't really know where it is or anything about it. Here is what I found on Google Earth: So this is the general area. it doesn't look as dense as the areas of Montreal I've been too but I'm at least a minute walk from a metro stop and it's quite cheap.

Milk Bottle Water Tower

Lunchtime Meditation

On one of my photo walks, I tool a break in the Canadian Architectual Institute gardens. As I sat and had a cigarette, this gentleman came along and started doing a martial arts-style meditation session. It was quite interesting. I'm no expert on martial arts and the associated meditation techniques, so maybe someone can help me better understand exactly what I saw.

Private Bus Stop Across From Sex Shop
