This guy was very lucky when he spun out of control on Autoroute 20 near Dorval Avenue one wet day. It seems the only damage suffered was a few scratches and minor dents from knocking out some fence posts, and some severly wounded pride.

As I was getting ready to post this article, I noticed something odd in the first photo. A closer look has piqued my curiosity, and just plain confused me. Maybe I should have titled this article as:
What the hell IS this thing?
Any ideas, people?
CE, shall we go investigate once the snow is gone?

These two clocks face each other across the corner of Drummond and Sainte-Catherine Streets downtown. I prefer the older clock from 1910, but unfortunately, it does not work. The newer one on the Bank of Montreal branch works, but lacks the soul of its neighbour.

Mary, Queen of the World Cathedral is the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Montreal. It is located at the corner of de la Cathedrale Street and Rene-Levesque Boulevard in Downtown Montreal. The Queen Elizabeth Hotel is next door to the east and the Sun Life Building is across the street to the north.

This old home on Place Lucy, just west of Decarie in the Cote Des Neiges area has seen better days, and is now condemned, just waiting for nature to take its course and return its bricks to good old Mother Earth.
Police danger tape (and an unplowed driveway) keeps pedestrians from venturing into the zone of the impending collapse. The window behind the bulge has already fallen out of its frame.
It is hard to see due to the...
