 today was a tough day. whew. classes all day long. and weird things kept happening:
after my first class i began to see double.
later i found myself on the fifth floor of robarts library surrounded by giant dominoes.
(hey, that's cheating)
after class i walked home down dundas street, thankful that i'd finally escaped the weird mojo that had been dogging me all day. then, suddenly, everything turned orange.

 tonight was the first snowfall of the season for me. there have been a few wispy flurries in the past week, but nothing that stuck, til tonight. snow is made of prisms:
i also took this photo in the alley by our house. i like walking in the alleys. they're like the urban equivalent of a hike.

As a Vespa rider, I was really excited to see this news... I can only hope that NYC follows Toronto's lead in innitiatives like this...

Motorcycles and scooters park free in Toronto. Who knew? Hardly anybody, it turns out.
Some parking enforcement officers kept right on ticketing the vehicles for not paying at meters after city council approved the exemption two weeks ago.
