Yonge Street, March 30, 2006, 5:30 PM It's a good day to walk. The weather was lovely, so I did. I started at Front Street. The destination was Bloor Street where I would catch my train to take me home. That should take me 25-30 minutes to walk in my sensible, but definitely not a pair o walking shoes. 33 Yonge Street That's the BCE Place (again?) reflected. The Red Rocket at King Street Hongkong Shanghai Bank of Canada at Adelaide Street Canada Trust, right across Nearly got run over by a streetcar at Queen Street. Not really, but the picture was out of focus as I...

These were taken today at Yonge and Dundas. Too bad he was packing up when I caught up with him at around 5:45 PM. And here is the chalkmaster himself...(drumroll, please)... DAVE! And if you noticed his caption, he wrote, his bootylicious self could no longer earn a living being a bikini model. He saw me taking his picture, so he posed. I felt so bad I didn't have any coins for his tip. His work at www.chalkmaster.com is amazing.

Bushwick '77: When the Lights Went Out

**Thirty years ago this month, the eyes of the nation focussed on a darkness. Across New York City, where gleaming towers defined the night sky, the lights went dark. It was three days until electricity was fully restored to the...
