From the mind of Ron Casper. He has several murals on the Sarnia Flea Market building, and last week I saw a truck with his work on it as well. I could have sworn I posted something of his before but I my previous citynoise entries and found nothing. He also has, or at least had, several murals in Downtown London, Ontario in the early 2000's or late 1990s.
I took the below photographs while walking downtown, passing the flea market was the following messages:
Do people still have printers that use that kind of paper? Facinating thought all...

For nearly two years I've lived in my house, and today I noticed something different about my front hedge. It appears that it is not just any regular hedge, but actually a rare Slurpee plant!
I've taken a photo of the strange fruit that I found for all you botany fans:
What genus do you think it is?
Seriously kids, littering is not cool. It is amazing the junk food that I get to pick up from my front hedge / back alley area. Usually it's junk food I'd never eat, at least this time it left me jelous! I loveeeeeeee...

I know at least my fellow vegetarians and vegans will appreciate this entry. Below is the quiet, delicious city noise growing in my backyard. I buy my plants at the Farmer's Market each spring and plant them, dreaming of superior vegetable harvest months later. Wandering into a garden and taking a fresh, warm sweet million (cherry type) tomato is a yummy summer perk.
Coming to backyard near me: eggplants starting to grow, won't have any any homegrown aubergine on my plate for a month or so.
(what's the story) morning glory?

 Run-down house covered in ivy.
This house was up for sale but the sign is gone, if it sold I can only guess it was purchased for the lot. The front is brick but the left side of the property is rotten wood and other deteriorating building materials. It will be neat to see if it stays the same, gets leveled or if someone actually makes the attempt to flip the house.

June is a great month - the warm weather is a definite, every day makes a good beach day and then there is Art Walk. It has been going since 2002 and I've been a happy supporter since I moved to the downtown area in 2005.
Before noon I biked to Art Walk ready to get my fill of locally made jewelry, buy locally grown tea and snap some shots.
Many a person have said crap about the downtown area for as long as I can remember... and I've always been a defender for it. Don't complain about...
