Mount Loretto Unique Area is a New York State Park maintained by the New York State Dept. or Environmental Conservation.
It is located on Raritan bay in Pleasant Plains neighborhood of Staten Island, near its southern tip.
As you can judge by a simple google search, Mount Loretto has something for most anyone looking for something special in the city.
Its not just a romantic sea view
there are --amazing birds, plants, trees, sea life (seals and horseshoe crabs and sea shells), and lots and lots of sweet round rocks!...

Built in 1917, this now-abandoned factory once housed the chicle-processing operations for the
Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company, aka Wrigley's Gum
You can see the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge from inside
It even features a nice view of Manhattan in the middle-distance, and Brooklyn to the right,
just across the Verrazano Narrows
