the corner building which has a bank there now was originally a bickfords restaurant, they converted the restaurant into an xxx rated porn shop with viewing booths in the basement, they knocked that down and then built the new structure that houses a bank and offices, all thanks to rudy. stinkin dinkin did nothing for the city it was rudy who cleaned up the city.

Columbus Circle Nocturne

Columbus Circle is an architectural barometer, has known many forms--reflecting the times that flow in circle around it. In This the newest incarnation of the structure. It works as a hangout scene for teens, a tourist destination for families, an island safe from the buzzing mass of traffic, and a fountain. And of course, it has lots of new lights, looking lovely at night.

Could this be the longest photo thread on Citynoise? If one tried to snap every Robert Moses development in NYC, it might be. And it can be, if you help out. Keep your cameras handy, and the builder on your mind, as you wander through our city's spaces. To start, here's the New York State Theater at Lincoln Center.

Lexington Ave Building

This is a place across Lexington avenue from Headliners Music Hall. A few days after I got in there I drove past and it was all locked up and all the graffiti was painted over. Here's what I found back...
