Recently, I walked past the Doorfaces only to find that one of the doorways had been entombed
in some sort of space-age material. I think it is no small coincidence that this is (was?) the door
leading up to the roof of the otherwise abandoned townhouses, where the wily graffiti vandals
allegedly go to do their rap-sprays.
A closer look (and a kick or three) indicates that its only about an inch-thick slather of cheap spackle.

After sitting there with no change for at least 5 days since the Department of Sanitation tagged up
the car, I decided to continue this post and stop by for some flicks from a proper camera.
"I'm not sure they've made their point clear enough", I thought, sarcastically. Immediately, a voice
from behind me called out "Yo, ten dollars to take photos of my car, Peter!" and saw one of my neighbors
sitting on her stoop with some friends, laughing.

Abandoned cars are a comparatively common sight in Bushwick
This appears to be the same yellow oil-stick marker that the DOT
and Traffic Police use to mark cars that block street-sweepers
or chronically abuse alternate side parking regulations, however
the message seems to be more casual, and to the point
Clearly, no one is going to move it, and it already seems to have
been "loosed" onto the streets, so...
