RKAE graf, Prospect Heights, Brooklyn...

I have been on red alert for months waiting to catch this vehicle for citynoise--I have seen it a few times in Park Slope, but never had my camera with me--and believe me, I have kicked myself! Especially when I saw Peter's Wildlife Control post awhile back. Anyway, on Sunday I got lucky and made my girlfriend screech on the brakes in traffic so I could leap out of the car and get these pictures for ya'll. I risked my life! And hers! (just kidding) Enjoy!

What happens when you have four graffiti-covered warehouses in a row, and only the 2nd and 4th ones ever buff? An interesting assortment of Half-Grafs.

Melting snow, a rear-window breakin and trash. Strangely enough, this is an often typical scene in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn at times...

Some of the detail visible from street level. The exterior of this magnificent building is adorned with carvings, many (all?) representative of various aspects of banking and savings. (I was unable to get shots of the beehive images, which of course represent savings and industriousness, and the implications of the wonderful lions are obvious. Then there are the wise owls. I wonder if the turtle and birds represent some aspect of savings/finance as well...musings from citynoisers are welcomed!)
Light fixtures on the ceiling over the subway entrance leading to the base of the clocktower.
