Geofreaks awake!
Conflux festival, a yearly celebration of psycho-geography, is once again returning to the streets of Brooklyn.
My must-see for this year is the Cripple Bush Ghost tour, a text message based walking tour of space and memory in Williamsurg and Greenpoint.

 last spring took some pic's but did not realize it would the last time taking pic's of the amusement area, caught a model posing in a shoot, saw the bridge, the city and finally the deutsch bank which made headlines recently due to the death of a firefighter, i never really liked the bank because it broke up cedar street which had a great history, the old apartments where edgar poe once lived, the firehouse bar, a greasey coffee shop, besides it forced me to walk around an extra block to get to my job at 130 cedar street, and...

Though it seems so postcard-ish, this sunset is enlivened by the fact that its take from above one of the nation's dirtiest waterways, Newtown Creek, the site of the nation's largest oil spill. The 1954 Exxon spill has left 9 million (of an original 17 million) gallons, undulating beneath the neighborhood of Greenpoint.
