Dusk in the desert. These types of hues totally go against my personal aesthetic [although it does remind me of when I was a desert dweller] but that's not what this site's about. Ok, when I say "Viva Las Vegas" I'm coming more from a Dead Kennedys angle with only a little bit of Elvis in there. Vegas might've been cool and glamorous in the Rat Pack days, but now it's pretty much as described: an adult Disneyland. Fake and out for money. Naked blatant greed in the flesh, opulent and tacky from the hotel/casino side; desperate, hopeful, or broken from the gambling tourist side. Truly a spectacle.
