Because it is very invasive, people do not want it in their gardens. However, in my last visit, I noticed them everywhere in Metro Manila: under bridges, on fences, etc. I was told that it is a result of an effort by the government to make Metro-Manila GREEN.
I took this series of photographs at the cemetery of my hometown, Sta. Cruz, Ilocos Sur. www.santa.gov.ph/ilocossur/cmstacruz.html
I find them very pretty.
