 AT THE TRAIN STATION IN SUMMIT NEW JERSEY I DROPPED OFF MY SON WHO HAD TO GET BACK TO THE CITY AND I DECIDED TO FINALLY POST THESE PIC'S OF THE STATUE AT THE TRAIN STATION. the old shed finally collapsed. there is a law about the great swamp, no new structures can be built in the swamp, so whatever structures there are existing, they must fall down on their own and eventually be cleaned up and carted away. but, you cannot rebuild one in its place.

i caught this shot as i was passing through the great swamp. the swamp is bordered by meyersville and harding township in morris county, new jersey. i first saw this house being built approx. in 1988 and it never sold. it was built on contaminated waste and asbestos and they were never able to sell it. the house still stands till today, getting shabbier and shabbier as each year passes. no family rooms, no laughter in its hallways, no bbq's no family party's, no children playing on swings, just barren land around a contaminated house....

found this dead seagull as i was endangering myself on the muddy slopes at the edge of the bay by the dumps, dumped dead bird, so if you call a bird that flies over the sea a seagull, then what do you call a bird that flies over the bay,......
faraway the mighty intrepid in need of repairs, a great ship, that housed several generations of strong, young men and women, who are now elderly parents and grandparents and great grandparents, men and women come and go but the mighty steel ships lasts forever.
