We flew from JFK International Airport on Thursday. I took a few shots of the sky. I like being parallel to the clouds; it calms me down. And I like seeing other planes in the sky: parallel lives. Still, ANY plane in the sky other than MY plane always feels a bit too close for comfort. The Caribbean's impossible greenish-blue. Montego Bay, Jamaica. A boat named "Di Evil Tings" on the Southern Coast. There were a lot of great names for things, my favorite of which was a roadside drinking hole called "Dainty Bar"--we sped by Dainty Bar too fast to get a...
